The nurse declared that she was dead. But her son wouldn’t burn her body until the doctor confirmed that she was dead. They were talking about her body. Apparently it had died and needed to be burnt. She lay there wondering ‘when did she die’? Did she die when she was widowed at 19? Or did she die…
