Google Maps in India finally gets Street View, coming to these cities first
Google Street View Finally Available In India, Comes To 10 Cities For Now including Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Nashik, Vadodara, Ahmednagar, and Amritsar
Google India sources say they plan to extend it to a further 50 cities in the North and West of the country by the end of 2022
Street View has been around for years but Google has been unable to offer it in the Indian market. Now that scenario has changed with the new local partners.
Street View on Google Maps will allow you to get a more precise and clearer view of places to better explore them
Google Maps will also now help show speed limit, road closures and disruptions information.
Starting today, the new Street View feature will be available on Google Maps
In addition to this, the company has also partnered with the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) to provide air quality information on Google Maps
